What types of filters are available? Different classification methods produce different answers. With a surface filter, almost all of the filtered particulate contaminants are blocked at the upstream end of the filter element surface. The filter element material has a uniform calibration hole, which can filter out solid particles larger than the calibration hole. Filters of this type are slotted, reticulated, and chipped.
The filter element is made of porous permeable material and has a zigzag channel inside. The pollution particles larger than the aperture will directly block the outer surface layer in the upstream of the oil product, while the smaller particles will deviate from the flow beam and enter the inner channel of the filter element due to the interaction of surface tension, such as molecular adsorption force and electrostatic force. As a result, it is adsorbed to the inner wall of the filter channel.
It mainly relies on the magnetic field force of magnetic materials to attract iron filings and magnetic abrasives. Filter element materials made of magnets can absorb iron filings, iron powder or magnetic abrasive powder in oil, often with other forms of filtering elements. The composite filter is made, especially suitable for the machine tool hydraulic system of processing steel parts.
When using filters, it is also important to note that filters can only be used one way. In order to facilitate the cleaning and use of the filter element, it must be installed in accordance with the prescribed flow direction. At the same time, it should also be noted that when cleaning or replacing the filter element, external pollutants should be prevented from entering the hydraulic system and causing damage.
